Alot like a car wreck. Terrrible, but you want to know what happened... Plot is predictable and characters are thinner than the pages they were written on. Take elements from all the major thriller/horror movies from the last 20 years throw them into a blender and you have level 26. The Cyber-bridges are useless and overacted. Whatever happens in the link is revealed a page or two later in the novel. Overacting? Michael Ironside--need I say more? Yes, the guy playing Sqweegel is flexible, but he was showing off his movements served no purpose--far more comedic than eerie or scary. Far more annoying than intriguing. Why did I listen to it as a book on cd? I have an hour commute each way everyday.
