Slither has never heard of Tom Ward, or the Spook, or Alice Deane. He thirsts for blood. He takes it from whatever he wants, animal or human. And he has his eye set on the home of a farmer and his three daughters. With his dying breath, the farmer offers Slither a bargain: if Slither will take his two youngest daughters to safety, the eldest daughter is his. A journey of horrors begins . . . and along the way Slither meets the fearsome witch Grimalkin, who is still searching for a way to destroy the Fiend for good.

I liked how it was from a "bad person" point of you and the way they live. I loved how a certain someone pops up near the end. I am digging how all the stories connect and how there may be another battle between Slithers kind and the witches. I got #12 on hold.

Loved this book so much that i finished it in 2 days. A story from new creature is really exciting and after almost half of the story you will get suspense that will give you goosebumps!

The change in whom the book focused on was much needed and well received by me, as they were starting to get predictable and boring. Three more books in this series, still one of my favourites.

These books have different titles than on the series websites titles, what order are they in? Also, the movie for the first book is really good, saw it a while ago, came out today!

These books scare the crap out of me, but they are addicting and a fantastic read. However, the scale of pleasure is waning. :(

Slither is a great read, full of fast paced events and non stop suspense.
Slither tells his story, he lives in an old tree near a village of farmers most people stay away from him, except for one farmer with three daughters. The farmer makes deals with Slither many times, but when his untimely death arrives he knows that Slither will kill and feast on his three daughters so he binds the beast to a bargain. If Slither brings the two younger daughters to their aunt and uncle the eldest daughter is his to keep. So Slither and the three girls embark on a dangerous journey. Slither already has plans to sell the eldest daughter, but things change quite a bit when all four meet Grimalkin the witch assassin.
