>When Heather goes to school for the first time, someone asks her about her daddy, but
>Heather doesn't have a daddy.

Did we just fail 5th grade biology? Heather does have a daddy out there somewhere. Someone got mommy pregnant. Despite what science deniers want to say for their particular agenda, it still takes the chromosomes from a sperm and an egg.

another sign the apocalypse is upon us, people. A children's book that condones aberrant sexual behavior among adults, that often has lasting adverse psychological effects on their children. The author should be locked up. No, the publishers should. Whenever I see two dykes in public with a kid I say aloud, "Heather has two mommies" in a mocking way, hoping one of them will say something to me.

This is a lovely children's book about family diversity.

Normalizing of a variety of families. Written without a sense of otherness. Sweet and lovely.

I read this book out of curiosity to se how a children's book introduces the topic of family diversity. This book does an excellent job of showing how families are different and that love is the most important thing in a family. I would recommend this to anyone with young children.

A great way to help bring up the topic of LGBT relationships to children.

This book had it's usefulness at one point, but please - find a different one now. It is so outdated and lame.
