Each day is a struggle for Amanda Gleason's newborn son as he battles a rare immune deficiency. Justin's best chance for a cure lies with his father, who was brutally murdered before Amanda even realized she carried his child. Or was he? One emailed photo changes everything, planting a seed of doubt that Amanda latches on to for dear life: a recent photo of a man who looks exactly like Paul. Could Justin's father be alive? Amanda is frantic to find out. But tracking down a ghost when every second counts is not for amateurs. Forensic Instincts is the one team up for the challenge. Forensics Instincts has built their reputation on achieving the impossible. Now they're up against ruthless people who are willing to risk it all to make the FI team forget about the man Amanda desperately needs to find. But when Forensics Instincts takes the case, nothing will stop them from uncovering the shocking truth that transcends the line between here and gone.

Characters are fairly well developed. Audio book is well read and flows nicely with few pronunciation or sequencing errors. Would recommend for a quick easy read.

This was a difficult book to get through. Even though the characters were likable, I found the premise of the story somewhat implausible. I also found there was way too much, "We must find Paul" or "We've got to find Paul" or "Finding Paul is all we're focused on". By the time I got to the last chapter, I was getting fed up with Paul! In the book's defense, I did keep reading and I liked the ending.

Another good installment of the Forensic Instincts novel. The premise was good, but the first half of the book seems to drag on for a bit too long. A good read!

Amanda Gleason's baby son needs a life saving bone marrow transplant. A donar can't be found and his father is dead or is he. A friend thinks she saw him and now Amanda has enlisted Forensic Instincts help to find if he is alive.
Following FI as they try to find the truth was interesting and the side stories were as good as the main story.
It has a great ending and is probably more for women than men but is a good read.

This one did not hold my attention the same way that The Girl Who Dissappeared Twice did. I cold not even get through it....
