I was hoping to like this book because I like the ocean, light houses, cats, libraries and mysteries, but the writing fell flat. It was quite repetitive how the police were questioning the main suspect. The character of the mother was very one dimensional. The plot was lame. I doubt that many people would still be giving any thought to things that happened 35 years ago in high school.

Book #2 in a great new cozy mystery series. I highly recommend it!
