Heading back to Charm was a fun and heartwarming journey. The main romance within this story centers around Lucas Kissinger's (main hero of first book) sister, Rebecca and the new farmer/carpenter in town, Jacob Yoder. Per Gray fashion, Rebecca and Jacob's romance is the main, but not only romance within the pages. I particularly enjoyed the young romance between Jacob's niece Lilly and a fellow student. Although I didn't adore this book as much as the first in this series, it was still a sweet romance and a nice bridge and intro to Amelia and Simon's story in the next book. I'm really looking forward to the rest of their story.

In this second book in the Charmed Amish Life series, new characters are introduced and those familiar are revisited.

Any book with a dog named Oscar, a goat named Princess, and turtles sitting in a row on a log must have a few heartwarming moments!
