Thought this was a fun book. I wasn't too sure about it because of the whole ghost thing - but it really works. I recommend this one for sure.

This is book is about two characters Lara Lington and Sadie Lancaster. Lara is living in present day England, her life is falling apart trying to piece together her broken life after her business partner has run off and left her to run their headhunting business all on her own as well as dealing with a tattered love life. She is also dealing with a crazy family, including her famous Bill Lington, who built a coffee fortune under rather dubious circumstances…. This is one character that plays a major part in the plot of this book, but will you have to read the book to find out.
Sadie Lancaster is Lara’s great aunt who died suddenly at 105. She is someone who has been neglected and forgotten by members of her family. No one really knows or cares very much about her. She appears at her own funeral as a 23 year old ghost dressed in twenties girl [hence the name of the book] Sadie haunts Lara relentlessly and will not go away until Lara agrees to help find Sadie’s long lost necklace, one with a dragon fly with beads. She even demands that Lara stop the funeral, and from this sets both of them off on a series of adventures.
Throughout the book, the two develop a friendship and help each other out to sort out each other lives and they learn about each other and the times period they live in respectively. Sadie helps Lara put together the pieces of her life and Lara helps Sadie to find her necklace (and along the way uncovers a deep dark secret that has been kept hidden from Sadie…)
