You can nearly skip the first half of this book because you know that Cork O'Connor is not going to quit until he finds his wife, dead or alive. So the first half is simply a preamble until Cork comes back to this territory. Otherwise, a typical Cork O'Connor story.

I really enjoyed this book.
I have always b een a great CJ Box fan, but now Kent-Krueger has taken his place.

This book has lots of exciting twists in the story, especially at the end.
If you like the outward bound mystery and adventure, this book you should read

Great Book!!!!

The 8th novel of the Cork O'Connor series. In this story Cork's wife disappears when a small charter plane crashes in a mountainous area. Much of the book is taken up with Cork and his son searching for her.

Too long. Needs a good edit. Stretches believability and full of stereotyping. Finished it but felt irritated throughout.

My first read of this author. Look forward to his other efforts.
