Several nice patterns but especially valuable for techniques, explanations, and generating ideas. My only quibble is that I would have liked to have seen more on borders.

After discovering how easy it is to make filet crochet, I was very excited to find this book. It has beginner to expert projects that range from panels and doilies to tablecloths and edgings. Each project is fully explained and easy to follow. There is even instructions on how to read the graphs and pick up where you left off. Many of these would make beautiful gifts. The ease of using only a few different stitches and the wonder of seeing your motif grow before your eyes makes this one of the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects of thread crochet. Now if I only had more crocheting time!
