While Lindsay Boxer is having dinner with her husband, Joe, they witness a bombing of a building. She arrests the suspect and then she has to try to prove he did it. Another person is killing people at random and her and Richie, her partner, try to figure out who is doing this before another person is killed. I really enjoy this series and look forward to the next book.

A terrorist blows up a building....people start dying of heart attacks (or are they)?....I found
this book fell flat

Agree with others who have said the ending was abrupt and lacked detail. It gave the impression that the authors wanted to wrap the book up in a certain amount of pages and had to finish quickly to avoid going over their allotment.

The book was an enjoyable, easy read. I would not call it one of the better Women's Murder Club books as I "detected" some of the events before they were addressed.

Very entertaining and a fast read. Would like to have spent more time on the ending as someone said it appeared rushed but otherwise enjoyable read.

I love the Women's Murder Club and have read all the books in the series. I would say that this was not one of the better ones but certainly an OK read and one that you can get through fairly quickly. I found the ending to be rather abrupt with some questions that were not answered.

A fast read typical of James Patterson. I enjoy the ladies and enjoy the interaction between characters. Not his best but ok

Interesting plot line but as others suggested, ending was a not satisfying. Read it in 1-2 days.

Another good Patterson and friend whodunit with plenty of political correctness for today's liberal prig, and the general prole: the protagonist is a white female supercop whose best friend is black, of course a doctor; her male partner has a moment of severe conscience remorse after he offs a perp--the standard pc garbage.

dissapointing! Felt like the end of it was rushed and whatever happened with Sophie Fields? yes she died but what was the point to having her in the story?? I feel like there were still things that were left unsolved in the book.

Not up to Patterson's usual excellence. Found it slow and boring-two star rating.

Disappointing. Feel like maybe he is allowing someone else to write because this was the LEAST of my favorite of this series. I honestly skimmed at least half of it. If this was the first in the series...I wouldn't be back.

I enjoy this series. It's a fast read and entertaining.

Love James Patterson's books and the Women's Murder Club series in particular. Great story line and overall I found it very entertaining. There is more set-up than usual in the 16th Seduction, but I didn't find that distracting. I have noticed recently some unhappiness in various book reviews - must be the summer of discontent. Patterson and Paetro delivered for me in this one. It's an entertaining and fast read. Enjoy it!

Average rating of 2.3 stars yet library rating shows 4 stars!!! Many must have rated 5 stars without comments which is highly illogical. Are they from independent or paid Patterson's fans? Hope the librarians will look into this discrepancy. Without a good explanation, the biblio rating marginalized legit members' reviews.
Here is the math for that to happen.

Number of commenters who posted ratings = 5; assume X is number of raters who did not comment; and the average rating of 4:
Therefore total number of patrons who commented and those who only rated = (5+X)
and the sum of stars by both commenters and X (raters without comment) = (5+X)4
Sum of stars by commenters = 11.5; assume those X raters gave the maximum 5 stars:
Therefore sum of stars by commenters and X (raters without comment) = 11.5 + 5X
To solve for X
11.5 + 5X = (5+X)4
X = 8.5

Math says 8.5 people who did not care to leave a comment rated this book the maximum of 5 stars while those who cared to leave a comment and rated gave it a poor 2.3 stars ?????

Slow, dull and quite boring - hard to believe it is part of the series... disappointing.

Disappointing. Slow, not up to the other books in this series. Ending was flat.

It was okay but really slow. It didnt move like the other books in series just wanted to scream at times. This book is nothing compared to earlier books.

Didn't have the pow of earlier books in this series. Gave the reader lots of info on the suspect, but the police never linked everything together by the end. Then in the middle it just veered off into another story unrelated to the original crime. Would have liked to have seen more of the story between Joe and Boxer, which has had its problems in the last book. Wrapped that story line up too quickly with a nice ribbon. Want to see more of the Murder Club meeting and solving the crimes.

Not as good as the other books. A page-turner;I kept turning pages to find something exciting.

Disappointing. Nothing like the prior books in this series. If you're looking for the usual gatherings of the women you won't find it here other than a few. Hoping it goes back to the regular format in next book. Way off track on this one & lost my interest half way thru.
